BoltAssist offers regional pricing. Businesses signing up through our Canadian pricing are billed in CAD, while U.S. and other currently supported self-service regions are billed in USD. Your billing currency is confirmed before you activate your subscription.

Time the AI receptionist spends on your customers' phone calls, counted in seconds. Time after a call is transferred to a person isn't counted, and neither are conversations on your booking site, your own testing during the 3-day Experience, or internal test calls. Minutes are shared across your plan's locations and reset with each billing period. Your account shows every call and how much of it counted.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI receptionist minutes. Beyond it, additional minutes are charged at your plan's per-minute rate only when additional-usage billing applies to your account — your account shows whether it currently does — and never above the monthly spending limit you choose when you activate. Your spending limit also controls additional minutes: when the additional minutes used in a billing period, valued at your plan's rate, reach the limit, your receptionist stops answering new calls (this can happen shortly before the limit) until you raise the limit, change your plan or your next billing period starts. Calls already in progress always finish. You'll get emails and alerts at 75% and 90% of your included minutes, when they're used up, and at half of your spending limit, and you can see your usage at any time in BoltAssist.

No. The 3-day BoltAssist Experience needs no credit card. You set up your own AI receptionist, tell it about your business, and talk to it in your browser to hear exactly what your customers would hear — including booking a test appointment, kept separate from your live appointments. The Experience includes 30 AI minutes in total and one location, uses the Essential plan's features, and doesn't require any change to your business phone. It never turns into a paid plan on its own, and your configuration stays saved when it ends.

No setup fee and no annual commitment. Every BoltAssist plan is billed monthly. Billing starts on the day you activate a plan, not when you start the Experience.

Yes, from Billing in your account. A change takes effect right away: moving up charges the prorated difference for the rest of your billing period, and moving down credits unused time to your next invoice. If you need four or more locations, or a footprint the published plans don't cover, the Custom option is priced directly with us.

No. After you activate a plan, you set up your BoltAssist business number in Mission Control — your plan includes one to three, depending on the plan. To keep the number your customers already know, forward its calls to your BoltAssist number through your phone provider; your existing number stays with your provider. Your website, Google Business Profile and social media don't need to change.
